Getting Here

We are located at 245 Foreshore Rd, Ahipara, directly opposite the beach.

Ahipara is on 90-Mile Beach just 15km from the local service town - Kaitaia. When you arrive in Ahipara, take the first left into Foreshore Road. After 2km you will see us on the left.

By Car

From Paihia

Paihia to Ahipara takes around 2 hrs.

From Auckland

You need about 5 hrs from Auckland to Ahipara travelling on Highway one.

If you choose to travel from Auckland via Highway 10 and Paihia, allow another 20 minutes for the drive.

Coming up the Westcoast on Highway 12 past the large Kauri trees you need to add a few hours. Its a windy and scenic road. You will be traveling slower with many stops so make sure to leave Auckland in the morning to arrive before 7.00pm when our office closes.

There is a car ferry from Rawene to Kohukohu which we recommend you take. It is a beautiful way to go and will save you about 50km. The ferry leaves every hour on the half hour. Check their webpage for costs and timetable.

By Bus

***There is no local bus at the moment***

Monday to Friday take the public bus from Kaitaia to Ahipara (not operating at the moment)

Northliner/Intercity leaves daily from Auckland -Paihi. Paihia to Kaitaia leaves 4* a week. Check their webpage for times and tickets.

The bus will drop you off at the Te Ahu Centre in Kaitaia.

Leaves Wednesdays at 9:22am from our gate. Meets the Intercity in Kaitaia at 10.00am.

The Link bus does not operate on Public Holidays and Weekends. It is closed for 2 weeks over Christmas & New Year.
